About us

West Center Baptist (Madison, SD) “planted” Central Valley Community Church (Hartford, SD) in 2000, which then “planted” River Community Church in March of 2006. River Community is now aggressively pursuing “planting” more churches.

Our ultimate purpose as a church is to make God’s glory known and felt through worship, outreach, growth and love. Since March of 2006, we have witnessed God changing many lives, we have grown in number, we have purchased and renovated a building, and we are aggressively making plans for starting more churches.

We value being a church that is: God-Centered, Bible-Saturated, Church-Planting, Outward-Focused, Spirit-Empowered, and Relationship-Oriented.

We are a part of the North American Baptist Conference and adhere to its statement of beliefs.

We meet at 10am on Sunday mornings. If you would like to discover more about what it means to follow Jesus Christ or if you are a follower of Christ, but aren’t already plugged into a church near you, we would love to have you join us for a service!
